Well, at least the fishing went well. The weather was beautiful on Saturday, but becuase Sunday was so cold and crappy, it made the whole weekend a real downer. The up side...we caught 120 fish!!! Funny enough, I caught the biggest and smallest fish of the weekend. We also got a new tent right before this trip and, that was a big mistake. My trusty 10 year old tent would have been a blessing this weekend. This "new" tent had two huge none closing mesh windows...what? exactly...so a tarp went over the main tent, but major cold got in and froze us for 3 nights! Off to Costco to return that piece of $%^#$!!! And of to Sail to get a good one!
We also did a portage that was 805m long. Seemed a lot longer prior to doing it, but once we got on the trail, it went pretty fast. Check out Danny carrying our 17ft canoe!
I have an husband whose looking to the pictures and he's really impressed! Il pensait que les scrapbookeuses ne faisaient que du scrapbooking!!! Now, he wants to come to crop and talk fishing with you!
LOL...I also am going to show these pics to my Superman...he wants to go wilderness camping, me I'm not so sure with a kid in tow. Looks like you guys had fun! Love your fish!
